How I choose

A stack picked on purpose

Tools are a means to an end. Here's what guides the choices.

  • Right tool, not favourite tool

The stack follows the problem. I reach for boring, proven technology by default and save the novel stuff for where it genuinely earns its place.

  • Open-source & self-hostable

A strong bias toward open-source, self-hostable tools that keep your data and your costs under your own control instead of a per-seat SaaS meter.

  • Depth over buzzwords

Every technology here is one I have actually shipped with. Breadth is real, but it sits on top of deep, hands-on experience in a few core areas.
